Conversion Vision Formation

Conversion Vision Formation

METANOIA describes a change in the inner man and in one's way of life that is birthed by a life-transforming encounter. It's a spiritual revolution which begins in the soul who becomes increasingly drawn to Life itself. The depth and fruit of metanoia depend on how deeply we will allow the Gospel penetrate our hearts.

Conversion entails a continual re-turn toward the source of happiness, which is Jesus Christ. The mystery of desiring, beholding, and being transformed into a person perfected by love, suffering, and joy, is essential in the understanding of a homo viator, a soul journeying to its ultimate destinyOnly a converted human heart is able to form a VISION which will carry his or her hopes forward, and which will be ultimately realized in beholding God in eternity.

Formation is a human process of discovering one's path and way of being molded by grace, and of following a freely chosen discipline with the goal of becoming anchored in a life of receiving and giving God's never-ending love. Jesus yearns for the UNITY of His Body. We seek respectful and meaningful unitive means to form, strengthen and develop relationships with all Christians.

Stone to Flesh School of the Heart in Los Angeles, CA opens Sept. 8, 2017

Stone to Flesh

School of the Heart

2013-2016 APOSTOLATE:

We are the founders, creators and leaders of the Encounter. Community in Steubenville, Ohio. This is where we directed the majority of our love, time, money and effort before moving to the Los Angeles area in Sept. 2016. Our experience in Christian ministry is very diverse and you can get familiar with our background by reading THIS page.

We dedicated our lives to the task of bringing people to the loving presence of God. In the spirit of St. Thomas Aquinas, who said "To convert somebody go and take them by the hand and guide them", sometimes we have to carry them or drag them.

We provide leadership, as well as spiritual discernment training and consultation, based on years of international experience in Christian discipleship, ministry development, recognizing natural talents and spiritual gifting, prayer and worship leading, organizing and leading large and small conferences, founding ecclesial communities, vision discernment and casting, establishing of small group or friendship group communities in parishes, lay leadership, teaching, parish missions and evangelization. Our approach is rooted in personalism, which was formulated by St. John Paul II's idea of lived experience and personal encounter, and is foundational to a Slavic and Christ-centered experience of life.

Evangelization Outreach Pilgrimages

Evangelization Outreach Pilgrimages

Introducing the Person, who is Life, is the center of our mission.

Training in all aspects of domestic and foreign missions: cultural adaptation, preparation, linguistic, and logistics issues, and forming and leading short- and long-term teams. Supernatural: healing, power encounters, prophetic insight.

We have many years of ministry experience as missionaries in Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East. We love to share our stories, and through them, God's story of human suffering and redemption to fulfill His vision for the lost, hurting, forgotten, and unwanted.

We're involved in leading and training in EVANGELIZATION, telling the Good News: personal, parish, community, street, friendship, work. Going beyond a typical understanding of evangelization techniques, modes and classifications, we try to understand holistic and personal challenges as well as tune in to the Holy Spirit's guidance for answers in each situation.

Preparing and leading domestic and international pilgrimages with a discipleship focus, establishing a deep engagement with local Christian communities and charities. We strive to surpass religious tourism, so our object of pilgrimages is not visiting, but encountering places and persons, not going on a pilgrimage, but becoming a homo viator, not being integrated into a group, but enabling each one to share him or herself.

Pilgrimage to Poland: one month immersion

I invite all Christians, everywhere, at this very moment, to a renewed personal encounter with Jesus Christ, or at least an openness to letting him encounter them; I ask all of you to do this unfailingly each day.

A culture of encounter demands that we be ready not only to give, but also to receive. Media can help us greatly in this, especially nowadays, when the networks of human communication have made unprecedented advances. The internet, in particular, offers immense possibilities for encounter and solidarity. This is something truly good, a gift from God.
— Pope Francis

St. Thomas Aquinas explained that there are different territories of knowledge. If the metaphysical, scientific, and rhetorical modes of knowledge are aided by poetica scientia (poetic mode of knowledge, understood as nondiscursive acts of intellect; that is, spontaneous, non-analytical, sensory-emotional experiences of reality via memory and imagination), it will be possible for the human person to be immersed fully in what is true, beautiful, and good, and move fully and freely toward that which will make him happy. The poetic mode of knowledge is intuitive and pre-scientific. Creating a culture of encounter that will open up new horizons, draw out mystical affections, and open souls to Beauty which surprises and overwhelms is the goal of our media presence. Creating from contemplation and rest is our way of approach. Having a truly catholic, i.e. universal, experience of Christianity, we feel comfortable in all traditional and historical, Charismatic and Pentecostal, non-denominational, Evangelical, and ecumenical settings, as well as in all expressions, i.e. Charismatic or more contemplative.

In engaging culture with visual expressions that uplift, inform, and provoke, we try to become a voice, not an echo, that creates the culture of encounter. Our vision is to become craftsmen portraying the human soul desiring God.

We can build many churches.
But if we will have no media of our own, they will be empty.

The cinematographer becomes a carrier of a message that is engulfed in the feeling, the passion, and the drama of encounter. He understands a vision which is presented to him and tries to capture the experience, not only with his equipped eye, but mostly with a heart moved by a presence.

Desire: to initialize and produce cinematographic concepts that will move hearts toward Beauty and go beyond mere information phrases; to develop a mindset of child-like wonder which will be able to transfix the viewer on the Essence of Being. In practice: to make short films that will propose healing, sanctification, freedom, a truly Christian poetic vision of humanity and the only Way to glory.

Cinematography in service: events capture (conferences, seminars, religious institutes and orders, trainings, e-learning, Christian schools and home school co-ops) for parishes, communities, groups, organizations, artistic events, church and charitable organizations. Formats: promos, interviews, non-profit media, directing and production consulting, personal stories and short documentaries enabling the vision for your idea to come to fruition.

Keith's experience in cinematography and tv broadcasting: directed and produced over 1,500 hours of programming on GOD TV, an international satellite television network, reaching a potential viewing audience of 270 million. Live 24/7 multi-camera television broadcasting at International House of Prayer. Videography for IHOP-KC, TheCall and Steubenville Conferences promos. Skilled in jib operation, hand held and Steady-cam.

Hide the ideas, but so that people find them. The most important will be the most hidden.
— Robert Bresson

A single photograph tells a story about a moment in time. We capture the moments with God, persons, and places, so it can become a stopping point of a fleeting 'now', engraved for others to come and have a glimpse of the past and engage the human heart of the viewer with powerful imagery. Each photo represents an encounter in the world.

Photography in

People. Dignity and the image of God.

Faces, relationships, gaze, solitude, joy, friendship, meditation and sorrow.

Events. Captivating the moments of encounter.

Conferences, concerts, liturgical events, pilgrimages, community gatherings, charity fundraisers.

Architecture. God's glory in culture.

Sacred art and lines.

Promos, events capture, sacred art, cultural ideas, visual story telling.

Keith's experience: Five national 1st places in color action, color still, b&w action, b&w still, and story board, packaged with a scholarship at the Oral Roberts University Educational Fellowship in 1988 set him up for a lifelong interest in photography. But his commercial lawn service and photography studio specialized mostly in weddings, and was sold to finance missionary work in Russia. The following decade in Eastern Europe and the Middle East provided Keith with point and shoot cameras and a lack of means for capturing some of the most incredible stories of his life (like driving in his little Latvian car to Red Square, or smuggling and distributing thousands of Bibles in Russia, or jumping through the fence of the Polish White House, or not paying bribes on the Belorussian borders and nearly freezing to death at night, or driving through one of the most dangerous deserts in the world by himself, and so on). He is now in a position of trying to collect his new gear from scratch.

It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.
— Henry David Thoreau

To design is to be immersed in an act of creation. Each frame tells a story, each one carries a weight of an unfolding journey to the Creator of all things. The designer is an artist that labors, recovers, births, opens up, translates, and lays out the journey of imagination so others can be immersed in his process of storytelling. To portray the idea adequately, the words are accompanied by all other forms of art that will enrich the message.
