Here is our 2nd full-time missionary (stonetoflesh.org/missionaries or link in bio), Vincent Munoz. He is music director for Stone to Flesh. After years of working in the secular music scene he came back to Christ and began devoting his time to silent prayer and community with youth and young adult ministry. He left music completely for a time in order to pursue God's will for him from within. Slowly he felt called back into worship and songwriting. Vincent now leads worship at Stone to Flesh and disciples others in the School of the Heart and Community. He has a heart for evangelization and outreach to the lost and brokenhearted. As a missionary, he currently visits schools, convalescent homes and parishes to invite others into God's presence through worship. He is a leader for a local collective of parish young adult groups and he runs a parish youth ministry weekly at St. Jude Maronite Catholic Church in West Covina. When you go to the wilderness, you don't go to become strong but to become weak, so He can become strong in you. You go to the wilderness to unveil your weakness so you can realize that you have to depend only on the One who can strengthen you. Forerunners are running away from their own strength to receive the power from on high. They are volunteering to become thirsty, hungry, unsatisfied, burnt, lonely, poor, misunderstood. The strange Fire requires strange lifestyle. The voice will come out only from lungs wasted on singing in the place of solitude where one Voice will own its own echo.
